What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Bravo, Star of the Show- The reason I played Starvo, when I don’t have to play the game to win, that’s what I like to play.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Crown of Seeds, not even close. It protecc, it draw, it filter.
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
Turn Timber – it has been the card in testing. The way the math works out with your equipment blocks and those from your deck, helps protect against enemy Oaken Old and Crippling Crushes.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
It feels good that there are three top decks right now. I think that is very healthy no matter what people are saying.
Any additional comments?
Shoutout to Carolina, Jason, Frank, and Kiki. Also Ryan Mound for being my testing partner. Average player BTW.

What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Prism, Sculptor of Arclight – Because my buddy wanted to borrow my Chane deck.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Luminaris – I always have access to it and gives all my stuff go again (hopefully!).
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
I’ve been boarding in Herald of Judgment, not because they are good, but because they are yellow and they block for 3.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
It’s a little weird because the top decks feel a lot better than pretty much anything under it, except maybe, Chane. I feel like it’s harder for all the other heroes to compete because of all the damage Viserai and Prism dish out. All these decks attack from many different angles.

What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Bravo, Star of the Show- I chose it because even though he has tough match-ups, he can overcome them with luck.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Crown of Seeds. It lets you filter and find Bravo activation.
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
Turn Timber. It blocks the most for the value on high threat attacks.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
Almost like rock, paper, scissors in that Starvo > Vis > Prism > Starvo.
Any additional comments?
I love you, Chris Fernandez.

What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Viserai, Rune Blood- I choose him because he is one of my favorite heroes and I think he is well positioned in the meta.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Swarming Gloomveil- It plays well in both styles of play for my deck and helps keep tempo.
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
Runic Reclamation is a card I feel really pressures certain decks and can be a powerhouse card.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
I’m a little concerned about Starvo’s power level. I think if he wasn’t a threat the field would be more diverse by a large margin.

What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Prism, Sculptor of Arclight – I wanted to play her, but I didn’t have the equipment but my wife got them for me for Christmas.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Merciful Retribution – A lot of the time they aren’t accounting for the Arcane Damage that come from the Auras. Couple with Wrath, they all blow up for two.
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
The Red Unmovables because of Starvo and it helps against the Oaken Old and Crippling Crush.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
Viserai is underestimated because of its ability to pivot in the mid-game. Needing to dedicate the majority of your sideboard to Starvo is just unfavorable.

What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Bravo, Star of the Show- Fast games, win or lose.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Channel Mount Heroic- Most people don’t expect the CMH build of Starvo.
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
Exude Confidence- Because a lot of Prism’s play D-Reacts.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
Fine.

What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Bravo, Star of the Show- broken deck, pls nerf.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Oaken Old/Crippling Crush- Discarding cards from your opponent = busted.
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
Staunch Response/Unmovable- Very good for mirror matches.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
Runeblade/Bravo are overtuned. People are forced to play around them too much.
Any additional comments?

What Hero did you play today, and why did you choose it?
Chane, Bound by Shadow- I’ve been playing it since Monarch. I felt Prism was going to be popular and Chane was a great way to foil it.
What was the best card in your deck, and why?
Art of War is always the MVP for Chane.
What was the best card out of your sideboard, and why?
Reek of Corruption I would nominate as the best new card for the deck. It adds much needed disruption to make the match up against Starvo and Viserai better. Which are the more problematic decks to play against.
How do you feel about the state of the metagame?
I think it’s the healthiest it has ever been. Monarch Season was dominated by Chane while Tales of Aria was dominated by Briar. But now we have multiple, multiple decks that are top decks and even though some feel Starvo is infuriating to play against, it is still a deck that requires thought and skill to play.
